Ajein Wanders To Lola Sayong’s Surfing Camp, Sorsogon City

Discovering new places and getting the chance to appreciate God’s creation is one of the best way to get away from work or just enjoy new places. It’s been awhile since I was able to get the chance to travel or get to wander here in my place. But when I get the chance to do so, I make sure I get to enjoy and make the most out of it.

I’ve been hearing a lot of reviews when the new surfing camp here in Bicol was introduced. And this was our chance to finally explore the place and know what is all the fuss about.

Travelling To Lola Sayong’s Surfing Camp

The perks of having friends with car (Yobo’s high school friends) is that you don’t have to go all with the hassle transporting or getting lost. We just had our “handy dandy techie – way finder”,  Waze to be our tour guide.

It was almost a 2-hour drive since we were all new to the place we’re about to visit. So if you are a type of person who hated waking up too early for a long ride you can definitely still have a nice nap. But if you are the type of person who enjoys every bit of the scenery then this is also nice ride.

I was just a bit nauseated when we arrived at Centro Sorsogon since the road to Sorsogon City has tons of curve roads. So if you are the type who hates these kind of paths, you better take Bonamin ahead of time or have at least your handy anti-emetic med and a menthol stick or ointment to cast away you nausea.

What I love about Sorsogon City is that, it gives me this nice rural vibe and made me nostalgic. This place was one of our affiliated areas way back in college and it was just so nice to finally get the chance to visit it again.

Food is Life

Enjoying the scenes is amazing but having to pack tons of food is way better. So we make sure that we get to drop by the groceries to buy all our goods before heading to relaxation.

Beach, surfs and white sands.

Lola Sayong’s Surfing Camp is located at Gubat Sorsogon. The place is just so eco-friendly that you get to appreciate all those plants, native cottages and nice white sand around the place.

So once we got to the place we immediately started bringing all our bags and food to the shore. We just can’t wait to see all the shells, white sands, blue sea and surfers.

I just enjoyed every scenes at the beach and all the designs they have for the place. It was really relaxing and the place is really a nice place to get away from the main city. So here are some of my favorite shots that I had when we arrived at the place.

We really enjoyed the place and the breeze was really nice even though it rained first when we arrived at the place. But that doesn’t hindered us from enjoying the beach and shore. Here is also a short montage for our surfing camp experience to give you a glimpse on how it all went.

We are surely to comeback here, and when we do, I might try learning how to surf by then. A hui hou!

Haven’t been to Sorsogon so perhaps I’ll take a note of the place if ever I plan to visit it someday; though just like you, Idk how to surf as well. Anyway, my first time here in your blog. Beautiful photos, too 🙂

Awwwe. Thank Raina. Yes, I am very much curious on how surfing really feels like and I can’t wait to try it soon. But I guess I should learn how to swim first before learning how to surf. I might drown if ever I fell from the board. If ever you get to visit Sorsogon let me know your adventure.
